Design & Engineering

At design and engineering phase we undertake, in collaboration with our clients, the process of solving mechanical challenges. Here, the robustness of the product and its mechanism is determined by material selection and engineering design. Our experienced team ensures that quality, reliability and ongoing cost control is built in from the start of every production run.

Key deliverables at the design and engineering phase are to prove (to a protocol agreed with client) that one or more concepts are feasible where the design outputs can meet design input. Concept selection and sign-off is agreed by all parties prior to moving into the more costly production set up and tooling phase.

As part of the overall service we offer to our clients, an ongoing continuous improvement process is undertaken for each project we undertake. We continually look to optimise the process and the product involved and can offer unique insights and potential improvements into the design, manufacture and supply of the next generation of products for our clients. At client’s request input into the design and development of subsequent next-generation products is carefully managed.
